Upgrading to PureSight 3.x results in license errors

Description

After upgrading PureSight for WinGate to PureSight 3.x for WinGate you receive a system message in GateKeeper saying:

The License for PureSight has expired or is invalid. PureSight for WinGate functionality will not be available

WinGates License Management shows the license activation is fine.

Summary

PureSight for WinGate stores its license in a different directory to previous versions. If this is an upgrade then WinGate will not see the new license as it continues to look in the old directory.

Solution

To resolve this issue:

  1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\WinGate\Plugins folder
  2. You will see 2 folders here PureSight and PureSight 3.0
  3. In the PureSight 3.0 folder you will see a .lic file copy this file to the PureSight folder
  4. Restart the WinGate engine

You should no longer see that error message in WinGate.
